Styles on Tour: What to expect from Harry Styles and his upcoming tour looks

From selling out shows to topping the Billboard charts and amassing millions of fans, there is no doubt that Harry Styles is a force to be reckoned with.

On November 13, Styles broke the internet by announcing his upcoming 2020 world tour: LOVE ON TOUR. So, naturally, we have to talk about it.

The world tour has 73 dates so far; covering North America, Europe and South America, starting in April of 2020. Asian and Australian dates are set to be released soon.

Since its release on December 13th, his sophomore album, “FINE LINE,” remained No. 1 for the first week of 2020- making it the first #1 album of the decade. In addition to his album’s success, he recently hosted and performed on “Saturday Night Live” and the “Late Late Show with James Corden” so, it’s safe to say Styles has been killing it.

When pre-sale for his upcoming tour began on November 18, thousands of fans rushed to snag a ticket. This tour will undoubtedly bring incredible vocals and stage presence. Still, one question seems to linger on everyone’s minds: “What will Mr. Styles be wearing?”

Styles has been known for his boundary-pushing style and head-turning outfits since the era of One Direction (still on hiatus) he has never been afraid to rock whatever he desires. Whether it be a leopard or floral print, gold heeled boots or a sheer fabric top with frilled sleeves at the Met Gala, he certainly does not disappoint when it comes to fashion.

During his 2017-2018 self-titled tour, which included both intimate and arena shows, Styles set the bar for exceptional performances.

At each of the 89 stops, Styles’ suits graced the crowd. If the math checks out, that’s 89 looks served. His style varied each show, some nights showcasing more vibrant colors, courtesy of Alessandro Michele’s fantastical Gucci couture.

Styles became the face of Gucci in June of 2018 and has since been featured in a flurry of elegant photoshoots. His well-documented ability to bend gender roles in his own fashion explains why he was a perfect fit for the brand, and his fans are undoubtedly loving every moment of it.

It is hard to tell what Styles will perform in when his 2020 tour rolls around. One thing is certain though: we should expect nothing less than absolute excellence. Even more eye-catching prints,  vibrant hues and, of course, even more suits.

While there are still a couple of months until he kicks off his tour in Birmingham, U.K. in April, the anticipation to see what he will own the stage with won’t be diminishing anytime soon.
